Not in order...

Dolphins, Whales and Waves Oh-my!

From Guadeloupe to Antigua, we crossed for at least seven hours!  After maybe four or five hours my dad woke me up and said look a whale! I saw what he was talking about and I didn't think it was a whale! They came closer and we saw that they were dolphins. They came so close to our boat you could probably touch them! It was amazing! At one point a big wave came and at least 10 dolphins jumped from it! We had been here for a month and finally saw dolphins a few days ago! Later on we saw a whale put it's tail out of water, it was huge! It was a great day, dolphins and whales! Now we're in Nelson's dock yard where there are many fish! We'll be here until my dad comes back from California! Hopefully we see some old friends!

Trafalgar Falls

Today we went to a waterfall called Trafalgar Falls, everyone said it was the largest waterfall in Dominica. It took some time to get to the falls, and when we did get there we had to climb some big, slippery rocks to get to the pools. Once I made it to the pools I went in about waist deep. Then I went over to a rock on the side of the pool, and I noticed something. There were big gray fish with a yellow stripe across their side, they were about the size of a banana. I was a little scared to go all the way in, but my dad held my hand, then I went al the way in. It was really refreshing, because it was nice and cool. On our way back we got some ice and some water. After that, we went to another place that was just like a big pool where you had to swim though a dark cave to get to the pool. I was too scared to go with everyone else, but I did go in a little.
